[News] THE PORTRAIT Trailer Taps into New Terrors

From Saban Films comes the official trailer for the upcoming domestic horror film, THE PORTRAIT. Make sure you check out the trailer below.

In the wake of her husband’s devastating accident, a devoted wife becomes consumed by a mysterious portrait that resembles him in his happier days. However, as her obsession intensifies, the painting starts to unleash terror upon her life, leading her to question whether it is possessed by a malevolent force or if she is losing her sanity. Caught between the haunting unknown and her own fears, she must confront her deepest fears and unravel the unsettling truth before it’s too late.

THE PORTRAIT stars Natalia Cordova-Buckley (“The Mosquito Coast,” Destroyer), Ryan Kwanten (“True Blood,” Glorious), Isidora Goreshter (The Five Rules of Success, “Shameless”), with Mark-Paul Gosselaar (“Found,” “Saved by the Bell”) and Virginia Madsen (Candyman, “Designated Survivor”).

The film is directed by Simon Ross (Dead Cool, Avernus) and written by David Griffiths (Collateral Damage, The Hunted). It is produced by Griffiths and Christian de Gallegos (Showdown at the Grand).

THE PORTRAIT arrives on Digital and Video on Demand December 8, 2023.
