Brainstorm Media and Doppelgänger Releasing have revealed the official poster, trailer, and release date for RAGING GRACE.
Paris Zarcilla’s debut feature, RAGING GRACE, unfolds a harrowing tale centered around an undocumented Filipino immigrant and her daughter. As they care for a terminally ill elderly man, they unwittingly become entangled in a chilling secret.
Joy (Max Eigenmann) is an undocumented Filipino immigrant struggling to do the best she can to support her daughter, Grace (Jaeden Boadilla). Soon she secures the perfect job: taking care of an extremely wealthy but terminal old man. The new position pays well and guarantees a roof over their heads, but very soon, Joy and Grace start to realize everything is not as it seems. Something is festering beneath the surface, threatening all they have worked for.
RAGING GRACE made its world premiere at SXSW, where it garnered immense recognition by winning two Grand Jury Awards. Building on this success, the film continued its triumphant journey with a European premiere at the Neufchâtel International Fantasia Film Festival, where it achieved an unprecedented feat by securing The Critics Prize, The Audience Award, and The Youth Award for Best Film. This exceptional achievement marked RAGING GRACE as the first-ever film to win multiple awards at the Neufchâtel Festival.
Directed and written by Paris Zarcilla, the film stars Max Eigenmann (We Will Not Die Tonight), Jaeden Boadilla, Leanne Best (Bolan’s Shoes, “Young Wallander”), and David Hayman (Bull, “The Paradise”). The film is produced by Chi Thai.
RAGING GRACE will be releasing in select theaters December 1 and available on demand December 8.
