From Shudder arrives the official poster, trailer, and release date for the upcoming NIGHT OF THE HUNTED. Check out the trailer below!

When an unsuspecting woman stops at a remote gas station in the dead of night, she’s made the plaything of a sociopathic sniper with a secret vendetta. To survive she must not only dodge his bullets and fight for her life, but also figure out who wants her dead and why.

Starring Camille Rowe (The Deep House, No Limit), the film is directed by Franck Khalfoun (High Tension, Prey), who co-wrote the screenplay with Glen Freyer.

Producing the film were Alexandre Aja (Crawl, The Hills Have Eyes), Alix Taylor, Noëmie Devide (Oxygen, Spring Breakers), and Morris Ruskin (The Swearing Jar, Ladies in Black).

NIGHT OF THE HUNTED will stream exclusively on Shudder starting October 20, 2023.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR – Franck Khalfoun

Franck Khalfoun is a French film director and screenwriter.

Khalfoun played in films such as Alexandre Aja’s High Tension, with Cécile de France, Maïwenn and Philippe Nahon, Serge Korber’s The Eagle and the Horse, with David Carradine, or Olias Barco’s Snowboarder, with Nicolas Duvauchelle, Grégoire Colin and Thierry Lhermitte.

He was both actor and assistant director on Alexandre Arcady’s Day of Atonement. After creating Godot’s Hideaway, an independent theater company, in Los Angeles, he moved to New York. He then began directing music videos, commercials and photographing album covers for artists like Mos Def, Busta Rhymes, Talib Qweli, Erick Sermon and Redman.

Franck Khalfoun teamed up with Alexandre Aja and Grégory Levasseur on High Tension and The Hill Has Eyes and continues to write and develop several projects with them. In 2008, he directed a horror film, P2, with Rachel Nichols and Wes Bentley as lead actors. He is best known for directing Wrong Turn at Tahoe, Maniac, and the Amityville franchise entry Amityville: The Awakening. He worked on the horror film Prey. His upcoming film is the thriller film NIGHT OF THE HUNTED starring Camille Rowe.
