[News] DARK HARVEST Trailer Brings Memorable Horror Novel to Life

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures presents the official trailer, poster, and release date for the upcoming horror film, DARK HARVEST. Make sure you check out the trailer below.

In a cursed town, the annual harvest becomes a brutal battle for survival. On Halloween 1963, Sawtooth Jack, a terrifying legend, rises from the cornfields, threatening the town’s children. Groups of boys unite to defeat the murderous scarecrow before midnight. Richie, a rebellious outcast, joins the run, motivated by his brother’s previous victory. As the hunt progresses, Richie makes a shocking discovery and faces a pivotal choice to break the relentless cycle.

The film stars Casey Likes (Spinning Gold, Thrasherland), E’myri Crutchfield (“Tell Me Your Secrets,” Burning Cane), Dustin Ceithamer (Rebel Moon, “Obi-wan Kenobi”), Elizabeth Reaser (“The Haunting of Hill House,” The Twilight Saga) with Jeremy Davies (The Black Phone, “Justified”).

Based on the novel by Norman Partridge, DARK HARVEST is directed by David Slade (Nightmare Cinema, 30 Days of Night) with a screenplay by Michael Gilio (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Jolene).

The film is produced by Matt Tolmach, p.g.a., and David Manpearl, p.g.a. It is executive produced by Gilio and Pamela Hirsch, with music by Brian Reitzell.

DARK HARVEST will play one night only at Alamo Drafthouse theaters on October 11, 2023, before moving onto Digital on October 13, 2023.
