[News] Dark Night Halloween World Returns on Friday October 13

Beginning on Friday October the 13th, Dark Night Halloween World, the highest-rated haunted attraction on Long Island and the largest Halloween event in the history of the island, is back for another spine-chilling season of retro, 80’s and 90’s-themed thrills, scares, and Halloween delights. Located at the Bald Hill Amphitheater in Farmingville, NY, this year’s event promises to be the biggest and best yet.

Dark Night Halloween World Scream Park made headlines in 2022 when it secured the #15 spot on BuzzFeed’s coveted list of the “Top 20 Haunted Houses” in the U.S., and it’s back to prove why it earned that recognition. With an impressive lineup of nine hair-raising haunted attractions (the most attractions at any of LI’s Haunted Events), a bustling vendor market featuring Halloween-themed artists and vendors, a Vintage Halloween Museum, giant one-of-a-kind social media photo ops, a spooky pumpkin trail, two immersive Photo Experiences with Krampus and Baphomet, live scare actors, and theme park-grade animatronics and effects, this year’s event is set to deliver unparalleled Halloween excitement.

One of the most anticipated additions this year is the “GENERATIONS FROM BEYOND” Haunted Drive Experience presented by Generation Auto Group. On select nights, visitors can embark on a family-friendly, sci-fi journey from the comfort of a Kia, GMC, or Buick vehicle, adding an extra layer of adventure to the event.

Behind the scenes, the creative minds at DarkWorld Entertainment Group have assembled a team of artists from across Long Island and the U.S. to ensure that Dark Night Halloween World exceeds all expectations. Among them is scenic designer Chelle Papaycik, whose remarkable work can be found at some of the largest haunted attractions and theme parks in the country. The event also features custom effects and special masks custom-crafted by Hollywood FX Houses such as CFX Masks, Dapper Cadaver, and Distortions Unlimited.

“We’re thrilled to bring back Dark Night Halloween World for another year of heart-pounding excitement,” said Aidan P. Finnegan, co-owner of DarkWorld Entertainment Group. “Our team has worked tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience that will leave visitors screaming for more. This is the Halloween event that Long Island has been waiting for, the one it truly deserves, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”

Finnegan, a Kings Park native whose company Dark World Entertainment Group is responsible for producing nationally recognized Haunted Attractions and Immersive Experiences throughout the East Coast and Midwest, partnered with local event producer Martin Arominski to create this event. Arominski has created many of Long Island’s largest Haunted Events, including the now-defunct Chamber of Horrors NY in Hauppauge, Long Island Fear Fest at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration, Halls of Terror in Farmingdale, and was the original owner of the popular Blood Manor in New York City. The pair have been working together since Finnegan was a teenager.

“We’re opening the doors for artists, brands, and businesses to create their own opportunities at our event, even other haunted attractions in the area can participate! If you have an attraction of your own, whether that is Axe Throwing or an Escape Room, or you want to promote and sell your wares – Dark Night Halloween World is the place to be,” said Mort Spuccenskrëm, co-owner of Dark Night Halloween World.

Dark Night Halloween World opens its gates on Friday, October 13th, and the screams will continue until Halloween. Don’t miss out on the most terrifying and thrilling Halloween event Long Island and the Tri-State Area has ever seen. Visit www.DarkNightLI.com for ticket information, event hours, and more.
