A paranoid man embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother in this bold and ingeniously depraved new film from writer/director Ari Aster. “While incredibly overwhelming, Ari Aster’s BEAU IS AFRAID is a sweeping epic that perfectly encapsulates anxiety in all its forms,” says Nightmarish Conjurings’ Sarah Musnicky.

Writer and director Ari Aster (Hereditary, Midsommar) creates another unsettling story, starring Academy Award® winner Joaquin Phoenix (Joker), Nathan Lane (“Only Murders in the Building”), Amy Ryan (Lost Girls), Stephen Mckinley Henderson (Causeway), Hayley Squires (In The Earth), Denis Ménochet (Only the Animals), Kylie Rogers (Cheaper by the Dozen), Armen Nahapetian (“The Orville”), with Parker Posey (“Lost in Space”), and Patti LuPone (“Penny Dreadful”).

BEAU IS AFRAID will be available for the suggested retail prices of $39.99 for Blu-ray + DVD + Digital, and $29.96 for DVD.

Before purchasing, just understand that you will need to schedule at least one potty break while watching the film. It is not for the faint of heart and you may likely end up hating the film after you’re done. That’s how polarizing it is.
