THE UNHEARD l Shudder
Shudder has officially released the trailer for the upcoming horror film, THE UNHEARD. Make sure you check out the trailer in the player below.

After undergoing an experimental procedure to restore her damaged hearing, 20-year-old Chloe Grayden (Lachlan Watson) begins to suffer from auditory hallucinations seemingly related to the mysterious disappearance of her mother.

The film stars Lachlan Watson (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), Michele Hicks (“The Shield,” Mulholland Drive), Shunori Ramanathan (“The Big Sick”, “Gypsy”), and Brendan Meyer (“Fear the Walking Dead,” “The OA”).

THE UNHEARD is directed by Jeffrey A. Brown (The Beach House) and is written by Michael Rasmussen and Shawn Rasmussen (Crawl).

THE UNHEARD will be streaming on Shudder on March 31, 2023.

About the Director

Jeffrey A. Brown was born in Valparaiso, Indiana. He has been working professionally on film, television, and streaming media in and around New York City since 1999. His first credits were as an intern on Harmony Korine’s Julien Donkey-Boy and as a prop assistant on Karyn Kusama’s Girlfight. He has served as a location manager, assistant manager, and scout on over fifty productions, including Peter Hedges’ Pieces of April, Michael Showalter’s The Baxter, Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3, Richard LaGravenese’s P.S. I Love You, Tony Scott’s The Taking of Pelham 123, Julie Delpy’s 2 Days in New York, Ryan Fleck & Anna Boden’s It’s Kind of a Funny Story, David Wain’s They Came Together, Jean-Marc Vallée’s Demolition, Jim Jarmusch’s The Dead Don’t Die, Josh Ruben’s Werewolves Within as well as the first seasons of episodic series “Fringe,” “Master of None,” and “The OA.”

As a writer/director, Brown’s short film Sulfuric premiered at the 2013 Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas and went on to play in over 20 film festivals. His feature film debut The Beach House premiered at the Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival in September 2019 and played in film festivals around the world before streaming on the horror platform Shudder beginning in July 2020.
