[News] M3GAN 2.0 Gets Ready to Boot up for 2025

Universal Pictures will release Atomic Monster and Blumhouse’s M3GAN 2.0, a sequel to M3GAN, on Friday, January 17, 2025 – wide, taking the place of the UNTITLED UNIVERSAL EVENT FILM.

She’s part of your family now.

Shattering box-office records, M3GAN has become an instant horror icon, dancing her way into nightmares worldwide. Now, the fresh face of terror returns for a new chapter from Atomic Monster and Blumhouse.

The new film, produced again by the most prolific minds in horror – James Wan for Atomic Monster and Jason Blum for Blumhouse – will be distributed by Universal Pictures.

M3GAN, directed by Gerard Johnstone and starring Allison Williams, Ronny Chieng and Violet McGraw, opened on January 6 to $30.4 million domestically becoming the biggest opening weekend for a PG-13 horror film since A Quiet Place Part II. M3GAN was released on January 6, 2023, and has grossed more than $90 Million at the worldwide box office to-date.

Considering the viral sensation that this murderously fashionable A.I. has been, it’s no surprise to anyone that has been following along that a sequel got greenlit.
