Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will host special advance screenings of Prime Video’s GOODNIGHT MOMMY, the new English-language reimagination of the 2014 Austrian thriller, at select locations on September 14.

Available exclusively for members of Alamo Drafthouse Victory, the company’s free rewards program, tickets are on sale now for screenings in New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin, San Francisco, and Denver. A surprise guest from GOODNIGHT MOMMY will be in attendance for a special introduction at the Alamo Drafthouse Lower Manhattan location. Tickets available now.

When twin brothers (Cameron and Nicholas Crovetti) arrive at their mother’s (Naomi Watts) country home to discover her face covered in bandages—the result, she explains, of recent cosmetic surgery—they immediately sense that something doesn’t add up. She sets strange new house rules, smokes in her bathroom, and secretly rips up a drawing they gave her—things their loving mother would never do.

As her behavior grows increasingly bizarre and erratic, a horrifying thought takes root in the boys’ minds: The sinking suspicion that the woman beneath the gauze, who’s making their food and sleeping in the next room, isn’t their mother at all.

The film stars Naomi Watts (The Impossible, Mulholland Drive), Cameron Crovetti (Anywhere With You, Witch Hunt), Nicholas Crovetti (Anywhere With You, Witch Hunt), and Peter Hermann (“Blue Bloods,” “Younger”).

GOODNIGHT MOMMY is directed by Matt Sobel (Take Me to the River) and written by Kyle Warren (Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Game Of Cat And Mouse).
