We’re on Day 2 of Netflix‘s second annual Geeked Week. What better way to start it off than a poster and trailer drop of the upcoming animated monster film, THE SEA BEAST. Make sure you check out the trailer below.

In an era when terrifying beasts roamed the seas, monster hunters were celebrated heroes – and none were more beloved than the great Jacob Holland. But when young Maisie Brumble stows away on his fabled ship, he’s saddled with an unexpected ally. Together they embark on an epic journey into uncharted waters and make history.

The voice cast consists of Karl Urban, Zaris-Angel Hator, Jared Harris, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Dan Stevens and Kathy Burke.

From Academy Award-winning filmmaker Chris Williams (Moana, Big Hero Six, Bolt), THE SEA BEAST takes us to where the map ends, and the true adventure begins.

The screenplay is by Chris Williams and Nell Benjamin. Editing was tackled by Joyce Arrastia, ACE, with music by Mark Mancina. The film is produced by Jed Schlanger p.g.a. and Chris Williams p.g.a.
