Sony Pictures has dropped a brand new poster for BULLET TRAIN, which we can use to hold us over until a trailer gets dropped.
In BULLET TRAIN, Brad Pitt stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails. Fate, however, may have other plans, as Ladybug’s latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe – all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives – on the world’s fastest train. From the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch, the end of the line is only the beginning in a wild, non-stop thrill ride through modern-day Japan.
The film stars Brad Pitt (Troy, Interview with a Vampire), Joey King (The Kissing Booth trilogy, The Lie), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (The King’s Man, Kick-Ass), Brian Tyree Henry (Marvel’s Eternals, The Woman in the Window), Andrew Koji (Snake Eyes, “Warrior”), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Last Samurai, 47 Ronin), Michael Shannon (The Shape of Water, Heart of Champions), and Benito A Martínez Ocasio aka Bad Bunny.
BULLET TRAIN is based upon the book Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka. The film is directed by David Leitch (Atomic Blonde, John Wick), with a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz (Fear Street: Part Two – 1978, Last Voyage of the Demeter).
The film is produced by Leitch, Kelly McCormick (Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Shadow in the Cloud), and Antoine Fuqua (The Magnificent Seven, The Equalizer).
Executive producing the film are Brent O’Connor, Ryosuke Saegusa, Yuma Terada, and Kat Samick.
BULLET TRAIN will arrive exclusively in theaters on August 5, 2022.
