From Dark Star Pictures and Bloody Disgusting comes THE PASSENGER. Yesterday they released the official red-band trailer for the upcoming horror film and there’s a fair amount of slime going on. Don’t believe me. Check it out below.

A group of strangers sharing a ride have their trip interrupted when the driver hits a woman hiking in the dark of night. They decide to help her, but quickly learn that something is wrong and that they shouldn’t have let her in at all.

The film stars Ramiro Blas (Under the Rose, “Locked Up”), Cecilia Suárez (“The House of Flowers”, “Sex, Shame & Tears”), Paula Gallego (“Vis a vis: El Oasis”, “Cuéntame cómo pasó”) and Cristina Alcázar (El Club de los Suicidas, The Longest Penalty Shot in the World).

The film is directed by Raúl Cerezo (La Guarida, Agua Y Jabón) and Fernando González Gómez (Estándar, Downunder). The screenplay was written by Luis Sánchez-Polack (“El paisano”, “Se acabó lo que se daba”).

THE PASSENGER will arrive in theaters on June 3, 2022. The film will then become available on Demand and on Digital on June 28, 2022.
