Brilliant, but reclusive author Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) has spent her career writing about exotic places in her popular romance-adventure novels featuring handsome cover model Alan (Channing Tatum), who has dedicated his life to embodying the hero character, “Dash.” While on tour promoting her new book with Alan, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) who hopes that she can lead him to the ancient lost city’s treasure from her latest story. Wanting to prove that he can be a hero in real life and not just on the pages of her books, Alan sets off to rescue her. Thrust into an epic jungle adventure, the unlikely pair will need to work together to survive the elements and find the ancient treasure before it’s lost forever.

THE LOST CITY stars Sandra Bullock (Bird Box, Miss Congeniality) Channing Tatum (Magic Mike, Step Up), Daniel Radcliffe (The Harry Potter film franchise, Kill Your Darlings), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Dolemite is my Name, The United States vs Billie Holliday), Oscar Nuñez (The Proposal, “The Office”), Patti Harrison (Raya and the Last Dragon, “Shrill”), and Bowen Yang (“Broad City”, Cicada).

The film is directed by Adam Nee (“Book Club”, You Can Never Really Know Someone) and Aaron Nee (The Last Romantic, Band of Robbers). The story is by Seth Gordon (“Breaking In”). The screenplay was written by the Nees, Oren Uziel (Escape Room: Tournament of Champions, Mortal Kombat) and Dana Fox (Cruella, Isn’t It Romantic?).

The film is produced by Liza Chasin (Stillwater, “Made for Love”), Sandra Bullock, and Seth Gordon. It is executive produced by JJ Hook, Dana Fox, Julia Gunn, and Margaret Chernin.

THE LOST CITY is only in theaters on March 25, 2022.
