Disney’s PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL arrives on 4K Ultra HD Disc for the first time on January 2, 2022, in spectacular HDR picture quality and Dolby Atmos audio.

The roguish yet charming Captain Jack Sparrow’s (Johnny Depp) idyllic pirate life capsizes after his nemesis, the wily Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), steals his ship, the Black Pearl, and later attacks the town of Port Royal, kidnapping the governor’s beautiful daughter Elizabeth (Keira Knightley). In a gallant attempt to rescue her and recapture the Black Pearl, Elizabeth’s childhood friend Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) joins forces with Jack. What Will doesn’t know is that a cursed treasure has doomed Barbossa and his crew to live forever as the undead!

The first film in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise stars Johnny Depp (Edward Scissorhands, Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street), Geoffrey Rush (The King’s Speech, Quills, The Book Thief), Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings film series, Kingdom of Heaven, “Carnival Row“), Keira Knightley (Pride & Prejudice, Silent Night, Colette), Jonathan Pryce (“Game of Thrones”, The Two Popes, Age of Innocence), Jack Davenport (Kingsman: The Secret Service, “The Morning Show”), and Zoe Saldaña (Guardians of the Galaxy, Avatar).

Speaking as someone who watches this film semi-regularly, the effects on the film have aged well and this is a classic in its own right. Definitely keep an eye out for pre-order because PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL is so good!
