In this prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, small-town bank teller Dieter gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe.

ARMY OF THIEVES stars Matthias Schweighöfer (What A Man, The Most Beautiful Day), Nathalie Emmanuel (“Game of Thrones”, The Fate of the Furious), Ruby O. Fee (Polar, Asphalt Burning), Stuart Martin (“Miss Scarlet and the Duke”, “Jamestown”), Guz Khan (“Four Weddings and a Funeral”, “Turn Up Charlie”), Jonathan Cohen (Pure as Snow, Budapest), and Noémie Nakai (Death Note: Light Up the New World, High & Low The Movie 2 – End of Sky).

The film is directed by Schweighöfer, based on a screenplay by Shay Hatten (Army of the Dead, John Wick: Chapter 3). The story is by Hatten and Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Man of Steel).

The film is produced by Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder (Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Sucker Punch), Wesley Coller (Snow Steam Iron, Justice League), Dan Maag (The Red Baron, Open Water 2: Adrift), and Matthias Schweighöfer

ARMY OF THIEVES is planned for an exclusive release on the streaming service this fall.
