Fans of Columbia Pictures’ box office hit psychological thriller Escape Room will get the chance to experience the thrilling and terrifying mind of Minos in the “Escape Room: Tournament of Champions Experience” located at the famed corner of Hollywood & Vine on July 14. In this free 15-minute group immersive and interactive experience full of shocking surprises, passengers will be transported to the iconic New York subway system and transported into the mind of Minos where the puzzles are harder and the stakes are even higher.

Escape Room: Tournament of Champions is the sequel to the box office hit psychological thriller that terrified audiences around the world. In this installment, six people unwittingly find themselves locked in another series of escape rooms, slowly uncovering what they have in common to survive…and discovering they’ve all played the game before.

The film stars Taylor Russell (Words on Bathroom Walls, “Lost in Space”), Logan Miller (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, Love, Simon), Indya Moore (A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting, Queen & Slim), Holland Roden (“Teen Wolf”, No Escape), Thomas Cocquerel (In Like Flynn, Kidnapping Mr. Heineken), and Carlito Olivero (Bad Samaritan, “Modern Family”).

The film is directed by Adam Robitel (Insidious: The Last Key, The Taking of Deborah Logan). The screenplay is written by Will Honley (The Hive, Bloodline), Oren Uziel (The Cloverfield Paradox, 22 Jump Street), Maria Melnik (Escape Room, “Black Sails”), and Daniel Tuch (“Burn Notice”, “Hand of God”) based on a story by Honley, Christine Lavaf (“American Rust”, “Fringe”), and Fritz Bohm (Wildling, Mondmann).

The film is produced by Neal H. Moritz (The Fate of the Furious, Sonic the Hedgehog). It is executive produced by Robitel, Karina Rahardja (Fistful of Steel, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween), and Philip Waley (The Empty Man, Solomon Kane).

ESCAPE ROOM: TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS will be in theaters on July 16, 2021.
