Just in time for summer, Fright-Rags has released a new collection of unique hats, along with “What If?” shirts that horror-fy ’80s movies and reprints of several sold-out designs.

Fright-Rags has six new hats from Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (including a Wyld Stallyns cap), Escape from New York, Tales from the Crypt, and Chucky. They join previously released hats from Halloween: H20, Elvira, Tales from the Darkside, and Twin Peaks.

Fright-Rags’ “What If?” shirts reimagine three ‘80s classics as horror films: Mr. Mom as a slasher, Short Circuit as a killer robot, and Revenge of the Nerds as a zombie movie.

Mr. Mom is as follows: The family man Jack Butler is happily married and lives with his beloved wife Caroline Butler and their children Alex, Kenny and Megan in a suburb of Detroit. Jack is an engineer that works in an automobile factory with his friends Stan and Larry and they go to work in carpool with their boss Jinx. When Jack loses his job, Caroline looks for a job and finds the advertising agency that belongs to Ron Richardson. Soon Caroline succeeds in holding an important account in the agency and climbs positions and responsibilities. Meanwhile, Jack learns how hard the household chores and childcare are.

Short Circuit follows Number 5, one of a group of experimental military robots, who undergoes a sudden transformation after being struck by lightning. He develops self-awareness, consciousness, and a fear of the reprogramming that awaits him back at the factory. With the help of a young woman, Number 5 tries to evade capture and convince his creator that he has truly become alive.

Revenge of the Nerds is as follows: When lovable nerds Gilbert and Lewis embark on their freshman year at Adams College, little do they realize the dangers that await them. They are beset by taunting from the jocks of Alpha Beta fraternity, which only worsens when the jocks accidentally burn down their house and toss the freshmen out of the freshmen dorm. To make matters more problematic, Lewis develops a crush on pretty Betty Childs, popular sorority sister and quarterback’s girlfriend. Joined by the aptly named Booger and the violin-playing Poindexter, the nerds soon realize they must form their own fraternity in self-defense. Soon the tables are turned as the nerds employ high-tech warfare against the jocks…. but can they really succeed and make a difference?

Fright-Rags has also restocked five fan-favorite tees: Trick ‘r Treat, Halloween, The Thing, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and The Evil Dead.

Hats, “What If?” shirts, and restocks are on sale now at Fright-Rags.com.
