Global content leader Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures have dropped the official trailer for the highly anticipated suspense-thriller SPIRAL: FROM THE BOOK OF SAW. Make sure you check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!

A criminal mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in SPIRAL, the terrifying new chapter from the book of Saw. Working in the shadow of his father, an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.

SPIRAL stars Chris Rock (“Everybody Hates Chris”, Grown Ups), Max Minghella (“The Handmaid’s Tale”, Teen Spirit), Marisol Nichols (“Riverdale” Scream 2), and Samuel L. Jackson (Glass, Captain Marvel), and is produced by the original Saw team of Mark Burg (The Intruder, “Louder Milk”) and Oren Koules (The Tortured, Dead Silence).

The film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II – IV, St. Agatha, Devil’s Carnival) and written by Josh Stolberg (Piranha 3D, Sorority Row) and Pete Goldfinger (“Phantom Investigators”, Piranha 3DD).

A Lionsgate release, Twisted Pictures presents, a Burg/Koules production.

The film is executive produced by Daniel Jason Heffner (Knights of Badassdom, The Good Mother), Chris Rock, James Wan (The Conjuring franchise, Aquaman), Leigh Whannell (The Invisible Man, Upgrade), Stacey Testro (The Perfect Host, SAW franchise), Jason Constantine (Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed, Daybreakers), Greg Hoffman (George of the Jungle 2, Dead Silence), and Kevin Greutert (Jessabelle, Visions).

SPIRAL: FROM THE BOOK OF SAW will be released on May 14, 2021. The SAW franchise has taken in nearly $1 billion worldwide.
