There is an abandoned place nestled deep in the Appalachian country where underground coal mines have been ablaze for decades. When a team of researchers tries to find out how the fires started, they soon discover something more startling than the mystery that sent them there: they’re not alone.

The film stars Alicia Sanz (En Brazos De Un Asesino, “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series”), Adan Canto (X-Men: Days of Future Past, “Designated Survivor”), Zach Avery (Hell Is Where the Home Is, Last Moment of Clarity), Chinaza Uche (Mother of George, Ricki and the Flash), Jesse Latourette (Boy Erased, There’s Someone Inside Your House), with Jonathan Sadowski (Live Free or Die Hard, “Young & Hungry”) and Will Patton (Halloween, Remember the Titans).

THE DEVIL BELOW is directed by Bradley Parker (Chernobyl Diaries). The screenplay was written by Eric Scherbarth (Sinkhole) and Stefan Jaworski (Hamilton: I nationens intresse, Tæl til 100).

The film is produced by Julio Hallivis (The Duel, Shifter), Diego Hallivis (Hell Is Where the Home Is, Curvature), Andres Rosende (Mr. Bear, Chain of Death), and Alejandro de Leon (The Strange Thing About the Johnsons, Madame Perrault’s Bluebeard).

THE DEVIL BELOW will be available in select theaters, Video On Demand, and on Digital on March 5, 2021.
