When Holly’s (Emma Mackey) dark secret is uncovered by her new emotionally unstable neighbor Tom (Anson Boon), they are pulled into a violent confrontation with her father (Michael McElhatton), who will do anything to keep the secret hidden.

THE WINTER LAKE, the feature directorial debut from Director Phil Sheerin and written by David Turpin (The Lodgers), stars Emma Mackey (“Sex Education”, Death on the Nile), Anson Boon (Blackbird, Crawl), Charlie Murphy (“Peaky Blinders”, Northmen – A Viking Saga), and Michael McElhatton (“Game of Thrones”, “The Alienist”) in this atmospheric, character-driven thriller.

The film was produced by Tailored Films and EMA Films, and funded by Screen Ireland, Telefilm Canada, BAI and WRAP fund.

THE WINTER LAKE will be available in select theaters on March 5th and On-Demand on March 9th. It will arrive on DVD on March 23rd.
