As humans, we are all at the mercy of making mistakes. But what happens when that single mistake snowballs into a destructive force hellbent on wreaking havoc on one’s life? That’s the focus of Deon Taylor‘s latest thriller, FATALE, a contemporary retelling of the “femme fatale” that draws inspiration from previous films such as Fatal Attraction and Basic Instinct, but with its own twist.
For the release of FATALE, Nightmarish Conjurings’ Shannon McGrew had the immense pleasure of speaking with producer Roxanne Avent who discussed everything from what excited her the most about the project to working with Hilary Swank as a producing partner.
FATALE is directed by Deon Taylor and written by David Lougherty and stars Hilary Swank (The Hunt), Michael Ealy (The Intruder), Mike Colter (“Luke Cage”), Danny Pino (“Law & Order: SVU”), Damaris Lewis (BlacKkKlansman) and Tyrin Turner (Meet the Blacks).
