Inspired by the Paul Kane short story ‘Men of The Cloth’, SACRIFICE follows an American couple visiting a remote Norwegian Island who are drawn into a sinister cult that worships a sea-dwelling deity.
New Yorker Isaac and his pregnant wife return to a remote Norwegian village of his birth to claim an unexpected inheritance. Here they find themselves caught in a nightmare as an ancient evil awakens to claim a birthright of its own.
Written and directed by Andy Collier (Charismata, The Seventeenth Kind) and Tor Mian (The Sky in Bloom, The Milky Way), SACRIFICE is a Lovecraftian horror starring Barbara Crampton (You’re Next, Into The Dark’s Culture Shock), Dag Soerlie (Smog, That’s Interesting), Erik Lundin (Happy Hour in Paradise, “Blue Eyes”), Jack Kristiansen (Under The Crystal Dome, A Strange Guest), Johanna Adde Dahl, Ludovic Hughes (“Murder Maps”, Miss Moneypenny), Lukas Loughran (The Postcard Killings, The Break-In), and Sophie Stevens (The Haunted, The Black Prince).
The film is produced by Collier, Mian, Ross Scaife (Fairytale, Perpetual), and Sean Knopp (“Two Weeks To Live”, Dark Encounter).
SACRIFICE opens in select theaters on February 5th and will be available On Demand on February 9th. The film will then arrive on Blu-ray on February 23, 2021.
