Lionsgate has revealed the official poster, teaser trailer, and release date for their Young Adult (YA) thriller, FEAR OF RAIN. Make sure you check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

For teenager Rain Burroughs (Madison Iseman), a diagnosis with schizophrenia means that every day is a struggle as she tries to figure out which of the disturbing images, harrowing voices, and traumatic feelings she experiences are real and which are all in her mind. But when Rain insists against her parents’ (Katherine Heigl and Harry Connick, Jr.) advice that the shadows and cries from her neighbor’s attic are hiding a dark secret, she enlists help from Caleb (Israel Broussard), the charmingly awkward new boy at school – who himself may not be real.

Written and directed by Castille Landon (After We Fell, After Ever Happy), FEAR OF RAIN is a terrifying thriller that takes you inside Rain’s mind as she confronts the frightening hallucinations of her imagination to determine whether there is real horror hiding right next door.

The film stars Katherine Heigl (Life As We Know It, 27 Dresses) Madison Iseman (Nocturne, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), Israel Broussard (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Into The Dark’s All That We Destroy), Eugenie Bondurant (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, Darlin’), and Harry Connick Jr (P.S. I Love You, New in Town).

The film is produced by Dori A. Rath, p.g.a. (Albion: The Enchanted Stallion, Wind Walkers), Joseph J. Restraino, p.g.a. (Skyman, Apple of My Eye), Robert Molloy (The Little Mermaid, The Luckiest Man on the Face of the Earth), and Joe Riley (Exhume, “The Book Club”).

FEAR OF RAIN will be released in the US on Digital, On-Demand, and in select theaters on February 12, 2021. The Blu-ray and DVD will be released on February 16, 2021.
