Today Hulu announced THE HANDMAID’S TALE has been renewed for a fifth season ahead of its fourth season premiere. The announcement was made by its cast, who are currently filming the fourth season in Canada. Check out the video below!
In the upcoming fourth season of THE HANDMAID’S TALE, June (Elisabeth Moss) strikes back against Gilead as a fierce rebel leader, but the risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges. Her quest for justice and revenge threatens to consume her and destroy her most cherished relationships. The 10-episode fourth season will premiere in 2021.
The series stars Elisabeth Moss (Shirley, The Invisible Man), Joseph Fiennes (Elizabeth, Shakespeare in Love), Yvonne Strahovski (“Dexter”, “Chuck”), Samira Wiley (“Orange is the New Black”, “Night on Earth”), Alexis Bledel (Sin City, “Gilmore Girls”), Ann Dowd (Rebecca, Hereditary), Max Minghella (Teen Spirit, The Social Network), Madeline Brewer (Cam, “Hemlock Grove”), O-T Fagbenle (Black Widow, The Five), Amanda Brugel (“Kim’s Convenience”, “Workin’ Moms”), Bradley Whitford (Get Out, “The West Wing”), and Sam Jaeger (“Why Women Kill”, “Tell Me A Story”).
THE HANDMAID’S TALE season four will be executive produced by Bruce Miller, Warren Littlefield, Elisabeth Moss, Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears, Eric Tuchman, John Weber, Frank Siracusa, Sheila Hockin, Kira Snyder, and Yahlin Chang.
The series is produced by MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM.
