When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big!

The film stars Jack Whitehall (“Good Omens“, “Bad Education”), Darby Camp (“Big Little Lies”, The Christmas Chronicles), Tony Hale (“Veep”, Toy Story 4), Sienna Guillory (Resident Evil: Retribution, Inkheart), David Alan Grier (“In Living Color”, Jumanji), Russell Wong (The Joy Luck Club, Escape Plan: The Extractors), and John Cleese (Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Winnie the Pooh).

CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG is directed by Walt Becker. The screenplay is written by Jay Scherick, David Ronn, and Blaise Hemingway based on a screen story by Justin Malen and Ellen Rapaport. It is also based on the Scholastic Book Series “Clifford the Big Red Dog” by Norman Bridwell.

The film is produced by Jordan Kerner, p.g.a and Iole Lucchese. It is executive produced by Brian Oliver, Bradley J. Fischer, Valerii An, Brian Bell, Caitlin Friedman, Deborah Forte, and Lisa Crnic.

CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG opens in theatres on November 5, 2021.
