[Video Interview] Cast of THE CRAFT: LEGACY

When it was first announced that there would be a continuous to the 1996 cult-classic film, The Craft, most weren’t convinced that it would have the same impact that it’s predecessor did. But to the surprise of many, THE CRAFT: LEGACY has seemed to resonate with today’s generation, and rightfully so. It’s vibrant and colorful presentation is a stark contrast to the original but it still tackles important societal issues (toxic masculinity and consent) while also respecting the traditions of witchcraft, and making sure to empower all women.

For the release of THE CRAFT: LEGACY, Nightmarish Conjurings’ Shannon McGrew had the immense pleasure of speaking with the new coven: Cailee Spaeny, Zoey Luna, Gideon Adlon, and Lovie Simone. During the interview, they discussed the importance of representation and inclusivity, their corresponding elements, and how the bond they formed both on and off set.

Official Synopsis: THE CRAFT: LEGACY is a continuation of the cult hit The Craft (1996), in which an eclectic foursome of aspiring teenage witches get more than they bargained for as they lean into their newfound powers.
