Screen Media, a Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment (Nasdaq: CSSE) company, has unveiled the official trailer for Chad Faust’s feature directorial debut thriller GIRL. Make sure you check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

In GIRL, A young woman (Bella Thorne) returns to her small hometown to exact revenge on her abusive father, only to discover someone murdered him the day before. As the girl searches for answers, she soon finds herself prey to a sinister sheriff (Mickey Rourke) and uncovers a family legacy more disturbing than she’d imagined.

Directed and written by Faust (“The 4400”), he also stars in the film alongside Bella Thorne (Infamous, Midnight Sun, Assassination Nation), Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler, Iron Man 2, The Expendables), Glenn Gould (Charlie Zone, In Order of Disappearance, “Cardinal”), Lanette Ware (Taken, “The Wedding Planners”), and Elizabeth Saunders (“Alias Grace,” IT).

The film was produced by Thomas Michael, Shayne Putzlocher, and Sara Shaak and executive produced by Jason Moring, Dave Duckett, Joe Ferraro, Jean Pierre Magro, Al Morrison, Lee Nelson, David Tish, and Screen Media’s Seth Needle and Conor McAdam.
