Saban Films has unveiled the official poster, trailer, and release dates for André Øvredal’s MORTAL. Make sure you check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

From acclaimed filmmaker André Øvredal (The Autopsy Of Jane Doe, Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark), MORTAL stars Nat Wolff (The Fault In Our Stars) as a young man discovering he has God-like powers based on ancient Norwegian mythology.

In this spellbinding thriller, a sleepy Norwegian town erupts after an American backpacker, Eric, is arrested. Witnesses claim a teen died after touching the stranger, and that he inexplicably started a fire that engulfed a farm. He warns a psychologist, Christine, that he has supernatural powers, and that anyone who gets too close to him dies. Is Eric a liar, a freak of nature, an angry god? Determined to find the truth, Christine draws nearer, and what she finds is beyond her wildest imaginings…

MORTAL stars Nat Wolff (The Fault in our Stars, Death Note), Iben Akerlie (Lake of Death, Dryads – Girls Don’t Cry), Per Frisch (A Somewhat Gentle Man, Pyromaniac), Per Egil Aske (Suicide Tourist, Eva’s Eye), and Priyanka Bose (Ascharyachakit!, Pareeksha).

The film is directed by André Øvredal. The screenplay is written by Øvredal, Norman Lesperance (Looking For Lions, Reclusion), and Geoff Bussetil (“Bulletproof”, “You, Me and the Apocalypse”) based on a story written by Øvredal.

MORTAL opens in select theaters nationwide and be available On Demand and Digital on November 6, 2020. It will then become available on Blu-Ray on November 10, 2020.
