Based on Clive Barker’s acclaimed and influential horror anthology BOOKS OF BLOOD, this feature takes audiences on a journey into uncharted and forbidden territory through three uncanny tales tangled in space and time.
The series stars Britt Robertson (The Space Between Us, Tomorrowland), Rafi Gavron (A Star is Born, Inkheart), Anna Friel (“The Girlfriend Experience”, “Pushing Daisies”), Yul Vazquez (“The Outsider“, “Midnight Texas”), and Freda Foh Shen (“Elementary”, “Mulan”).
Directed by Brannon Braga (“Salem”, “Star Trek: Enterprise”), the film is executive produced by Braga, Seth MacFarlane (“The Orville”, “Family Guy”), Erica Huggins (The Spy Who Dumped Me, How To Deal), Alana Kleiman (Straight A’s, “The Orville”), Brian Witten (Mother’s Day, Chernobyl Diaries), Jeff Kwatinetz (Final Girl, This Means War), Josh Barry (“Shadow and Bone”, “Unsolved Mysteries“), Clive Barker (Hellraiser, “Hellbound Laments”) and Adam Simon (The American Nightmare, Carnosaur).
The film is co-executive produced by Mark Miller, and produced by Jason Clark and Joe Micucci. The film comes from Touchstone Television and Fuzzy Door, headed by MacFarlane and Huggins.
BOOKS OF BLOOD premieres on Hulu on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.
