Peacock announces a new exclusive series, MR. MERCEDES, based on Stephen King’s best-selling Bill Hodges Trilogy, premiering on the service on October 15, 2020. This news comes today on Stephen King’s birthday! You can check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!

From acclaimed executive producer David E. Kelley and director Jack Bender, the first two seasons of the crime-thriller drama series will drop exclusively on Peacock.

Based on the New York Times Best-Selling Bill Hodges trilogy (Mr. Mercedes, Finders Keepers, and End of Watch) by Stephen King, MR. MERCEDES follows a retired detective who is tormented by a serial killer (Brady Hartsfield, aka Mr. Mercedes) through a series of letters and e-mails, causing him to set out on a dangerous and potentially felonious crusade to protect his loved ones and himself.

MR. MERCEDES stars Brendan Gleeson (Gangs of New York, The Guard), Harry Treadaway (“Penny Dreadful”, “Star Trek: Picard”), Kelly Lynch (Charlie’s Angels, “The L Word”), Jharrel Jerome (When They See Us, Moonlight), Mary-Louise Parker (Fried Green Tomatoes, “Weeds”), Holland Taylor (“Hollywood”, Legally Blonde), Justine Lupe (“Succession”, “Madam Secretary”), Breeda Wool (Mother’s Little Helpers, “Unreal”), Scott Lawrence (Cloverfield, Avatar), Ann Cusack (“Better Call Saul”, “The Boys”), Jack Huston (Antebellum, “Fargo”), Tessa Ferrer (Insidious: The Last Key, “Extant”), Maximiliano Hern├índez (Item 47, “The Americans”), and Nancy Travis (“The Kominsky Method”, “Last Man Standing”).

MR. MERCEDES is produced by Temple Hill Entertainment and Sonar Entertainment. David E. Kelley serves as executive producer and wrote the series alongside Stephen King and Sophie Owens-Bender. Jack Bender (Child’s Play 3, Killing Mr. Griffin) serves as director.

Peacock is an American over-the-top subscription video on-demand streaming service owned and operated by the Television and Streaming division of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. Named after the logo of NBC, the service launched on July 15, 2020
