Netflix has just unveiled its main key art for its upcoming film, THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME.
In an explosive Midwestern Gothic tale spanning two decades, sinister characters converge around young Arvin Russell as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and everything he loves. Based on Donald Ray Pollock’s award-winning novel.
In Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighboring backwoods, sinister characters — an unholy preacher (Robert Pattinson), twisted couple (Jason Clarke and Riley Keough), and crooked sheriff (Sebastian Stan) — converge around young Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family. Spanning the time between World War II and the Vietnam war, director Antonio Campos’ THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME renders a seductive and horrific landscape that pits the just against the corrupted.
Co-starring Bill Skarsgård, Mia Wasikowska, Harry Melling, Haley Bennett, and Pokey Lafarge, this suspenseful, finely-woven tale is adapted from Donald Ray Pollock’s award-winning novel.
THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME stars Tom Holland (Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home) Bill Skarsgård (Villains, IT Chapter Two), Riley Keough (The Lodge, “The Girlfriend Experience”), Jason Clarke (Pet Sematary, The Aftermath), Sebastian Stan (I, Tonya, The Martian), Haley Bennett (Swallow, The Red Sea Diving Resort), Harry Melling (Harry Potter franchise, The Old Guard), Eliza Scanlen (Little Women, Babyteeth) with Mia Wasikowska (Piercing, Crimson Peak) and Robert Pattinson (The Lighthouse, The Batman).
The film is directed by Antonio Campos (Christine, Martha Marcy May Marlene), with the screenplay written by Antonio Campos and Paulo Campos. It is based on the novel by Donald Ray Pollock.
The film is produced by Jake Gyllenhaal (Spider-Man: Far From Home, Velvet Buzzsaw), Riva Marker (Beasts of No Nation, Relic), and Max Born (Katie Says Goodbye, The Eyes’ Of My Mother). It is executive produced by Jared Ian Goldman, Marc Hammer, and Annie Marter.
THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME will be premiering exclusively on Netflix on September 16, 2020.
