High Octane Pictures has unveiled the official poster, trailer, and release date from the upcoming slasher horror film, THE LAST LAUGH.

A stand-up comedian on the verge of breakout success must make a terrible choice when he discovers a murderer on the loose in the theater where he’s about to perform his biggest show.

Myles Parks is a talented stand-up comedian on the edge of success. His past, however, is marked by a tragedy that has left him dependent on medication and limited his career potential. But tonight is the night that could turn it all around: Myles is opening for a big name comedian at a prestigious old world theater the very night that a talent scout for a prime time comedy show will be in attendance. Unfortunately, fate has something else in mind. While preparing for this career-making opportunity, Myles discovers a dead body in his dressing room. Faced with a moral dilemma, Myles hides the body so that the show can go on but soon realizes someone or something stalks the dark back corridors of the theater, putting everyone’s lives at stake. Now he must not only fight to ensure the show goes off without a hitch, but he must also fight to stay alive.

THE LAST LAUGH stars Steve Vanderzee (“Buried in the Backyard”, All Too Human), Eric Stone (Mystic Coffee, Two Pictures), Lowell Deo (“The Librarians”, “Z Nation”), Angelo DiMarco (We Take The Low Road, A Fairy’s Game), Meranda Long (Survival Skills, Fall City), and Jeffrey Arrington (Before The Dark, Dead West).

The film is written and directed by Jeremy Berg (The Invoking, The Device).

THE LAST LAUGH will be available on September 15, 2020, for purchase and rent on Video On Demand from High Octane Pictures.
