RLJE Films has unveiled the official poster, trailer, and release date for their upcoming home invasion-gone-wrong thriller, THE OWNERS. Make sure you check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

A group of friends think they found the perfect easy score – an empty house with a safe full of cash. But when the elderly couple that lives there comes home early the tables are suddenly turned. As a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues the would-be thieves are left to fight to save themselves from a nightmare they could never have imagined.

The film stars Maisie Williams (“Game of Thrones”, The New Mutants), Sylvester McCoy (The Hobbit film trilogy, Doctor Who: The Movie), Jake Curran (Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead, Robin Hood), Ian Kenny (Gretel & Hansel, Solo: A Star Wars Story), Andrew Ellis (Teen Spirit, This is England ’90), and Rita Tushingham (Last Night in Soho, Girl with Green Eyes).

THE OWNERS is directed by Julius Berg (“The Crimson Rivers”, “Mata Hari”). Berg co-wrote the screenplay with Matthieu Gompel (The Dream Kids).

THE OWNERS will be available in theaters and On-Demand and Digital on September 4, 2020.

RLJE Films’ recent features include the 2019 Toronto Film Festival hit Color Out of Space, based on the classic H.P. Lovecraft story, starring Nicolas Cage and Joely Richardson and written and directed by Richard Stanley; and The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot written and directed by Robert Krzykowski and starring Academy Award nominee Sam Elliott, Aidan Turner, and Ron Livingston. Upcoming releases include David Ayer’s The Tax Collector starring Shia La Beouf and Bobby Soto; and The Owners from director Julian Berg and starring Maisie Williams from “Game of Thrones.”
