Uncork’d Entertainment has unveiled the official poster, trailer, and release date for their upcoming creature feature horror film, MONSTROUS. Make sure you check out the trailer below and decide for yourself whether or not the film has earned its title.

Something is out there…

Sylvia, a lonely 20-something, goes searching for answers after her friend mysteriously vanishes in Whitehall, NY, an Adirondack town known for its Bigfoot sightings. She sets off with a mysterious, charming young woman, Alex, hellbent on getting to Whitehall for different reasons. Sylvia soon learns that hiding in the woods is an evil more sinister than she could ever imagine.

The film stars Anna Shields (The Executioners, The Song of Sway Lake), Rachel Finninger (“Big Time Rush”, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”), Grant Schumacher (Lake Artifact, Left Hand), Hannah McKechnie (“All Hail Beth”, The Other Side of Happiness), Catharine Daddario (“The Good Fight”, And The Heavens Must Have Cried), Dylan Grunn (All Raccoons Are Bandits, The Hunt), Peter Stray (Deadly Honeymoon, Canaries), Rick Montgomery Jr. (Last Kind Words, Aimy in a Cage), and Thomas Brazzle (Underground Tango, Lake Artifact).

The film is directed by Bruce Wemple (Mia and the Vase, Altered Hours) and written by Anna Shields.

MONSTROUS will premiere On Demand and be available on DVD on August 11, 2020, from Uncork’d Entertainment.
