A lawyer is caught in a terrifying game of cat and mouse when a drink with an old friend escalates into an obsession that jeopardizes everyone she loves.
Ellie (Nia Long) tries to mend her marriage with her husband Marcus (Stephen Bishop) after a brief encounter with an old friend, David (Omar Epps), only to find that David is more dangerous and unstable than she’d realized.
The film stars Nia Long (“The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, The Best Man Holiday), Omar Epps (“House”, Trick, “Shooter”), and Stephen Bishop (‘Til Death Do Us Part, “Criminal Minds”, The Town).
The film is directed by Peter Sullivan (Secret Obsession, High School Possession, Kidnapped: The Hannah Anderson Story). Sullivan co-wrote the script with Rasheeda Garner (“Women Breaking The Mold”, “Y’All-R Family”, Baking Christmas). The story is based on a concept created by Sullivan and Jeffrey Schenck (A Royal Christmas Engagement, The Wrong Stepfather, Cucuy: The Boogeyman).
The film is produced by Jeffrey Schenck, Nia Long, Barry Barnholtz (Wyatt Earp’s Revenge, A Nanny For Christmas, Sniper: Special Ops), and Brian Nolan (A Tale of Two Coreys, Sister of the Bride, The Ugly Christmas Sweater).
FATAL AFFAIR will be released exclusively on Netflix on July 16, 2020.
