Quibi has announced that a brand new futuristic thriller series will be making its way to its service this July titled DON’T LOOK DEEPER. Make sure you check out the info below and see whether or not you want to add this to your must-see list.

A dark and provocative take on technology versus humanity, DON’T LOOK DEEPER is a bold tale of self-discovery from the co-creator of “Lost,” Jeffrey Lieber and YouTube sensation Charlie McDonnell.

Set in Merced, California, “fifteen minutes into the future,” DON’T LOOK DEEPER centers on a high school senior who can’t seem to shake the feeling that something about her just isn’t right. And that something is… she’s not human… not one of us. This revelation of what she really is, where she comes from, and who has started looking for her, sets in motion a series of events that suddenly puts her entire life in jeopardy.

Directed by Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), this futuristic thriller stars Helena Howard (Madeline’s Madeline, Twist), Don Cheadle (“House of Lies”, “Black Monday”), Emily Mortimer (Mary Poppins Returns, Relic), Jan Luis Castellanos (“13 Reasons Why”, “Runaways”), Ema Horvath (Like. Share. Follow, The Gallows Act II), Kaiwi Lyman (Ice Sharks, Den of Thieves), Harvey Zielinski (“Starting From…Now”, Zoe.Misplaced), and Belissa Escobedo (“The Baker and the Beauty”, “Bloody Maria”).

Jeffrey Lieber (“Lost”, “Impulse”) is the showrunner, co-writer, and executive producer on the show. Charlie McDonnell (Strangers in a Bed, The Tea Chronicles) co-writes and executive produced the series. Hardwicke also executive produces alongside Kathleen Grace and Laura Schwartz from New Form, Jed Weintrob, and Julina Tatlock for 30 Ninjas.

DON’T LOOK DEEPER will launch on the streaming service Quibi on July 27, 2020. There will be 14 episodes, with the season finale taking place on August 11, 2020.
