What better way to get through the isolation of quarantine then to find a new show to binge? For me, that show has been the Amazon Original series, HOMECOMING, which just dropped its second season today. In preparation for the release, Nightmarish Conjurings had the chance to chat with stars Janelle Monáe and Stephan James.
While speaking with us, Janelle talked about coming on-board for the new season and gave us some insight into the mystery surrounding who her character is. She also spoke about the importance of diverse representation as well as exploring different themes within the genre.
Additionally, Stephan James spoke about reprising his role as Walter Cruz, working alongside Janelle Monáe, as well as the easy and difficult moments that come from playing a character that has memory loss issues.
Official Synopsis: HOMECOMING returns for its second season with a fresh new mystery. Jackie (Janelle Monáe) wakes in a rowboat adrift a lake, with no memory of how she got there – or even who she is. Her ensuing search for identity will lead her into the heart of the Geist Group, the unconventional wellness company behind the Homecoming Initiative.
HOMECOMING Season 2 also stars Stephan James (If Beale Street Could Talk), Hong Chau (Watchmen), Chris Cooper (Adaptation) and Joan Cusack (Toy Story 4). It is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
