Take a dangerous step into the tunnel at BETAAL Mountain. But at your own risk!

Delivering on the hallmarks of the renowned horror studio, Blumhouse Television comes together with SK Global Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment to present the brand new horror-thriller series, BETAAL.

The story is set in a remote village, which quickly becomes the arena of a breathless battle when a two-century-old East India Company Colonel, infected with the Betaal’s curse, and his battalion of blood-thirsty zombie redcoats are released from their tomb – attacking anything with a pulse. With the CIPD (Counter Insurgency Police Department) forces pitted against the undead army, hapless civilians are trapped in a gripping, edge-of-your-seat conflict.

The series stars Vineet Kumar (Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii, City of Gold), Aahana Kumra (Lipstick Under My Burkha, “Agent Raghav – Crime Branch”), Suchitra Pillai (The Other Side of the Door, Tikli & Laxmi Bomb), Jitendra Joshi (Baghtos Kay Mujra Kar, Mauli), Jatin Goswami (Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Bombay Summer), Manjiri Pupala (Ribbon, Party), and Syna Anand (Second Marriage Dot Com, Mere Pyare Prime Minister). The series guarantees a nail-biting, gripping battle that will keep you hooked, while it explores age-old secrets and ideologies that live to this day.

BETAAL is created, directed, and written by Patrick Graham (“After Sacred Games”, “Ghoul”). It is co-directed by Nikhil Mahajan (Pune 52, Baji) and co-written by Suhani Kanwar (Lipstick Under My Burkha, Leila). The series is executive produced by Blumhouse Television and SK Global Entertainment. It is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

The brand new horror-thriller series BETAAL will debut exclusively on Netflix on May 24, 2020.
