It’s Halfway to Halloween, and Fright-Rags is saluting the midpoint to our favorite holiday by bringing back one its most-requested items, plus new apparel from John Carpenter’s Halloween, Shocker, and “The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs“.
Fright-Rags has resurrected its Haddonfield varsity-style fleece hoodie, which sold out in minutes upon its release in 2018. It’s available for pre-order for five days only, along with a new, matching Halloween wool snapback cap to complete the look. The synopsis of John Carpenter’s Halloween is as follows:
On a cold Halloween night in 1963, six-year-old Michael Myers brutally murdered his 17-year-old sister, Judith. He was sentenced and locked away for 15 years. But on October 30, 1978, while being transferred for a court date, a 21-year-old Michael Myers steals a car and escapes Smith’s Grove. He returns to his quiet hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, where he looks for his next victims.
This is not a test – Fright-Rags has released Shocker clothing. Wes Craven’s 1989 slasher has received four shirts, including one that glows in the dark, in addition to a pair of Horace Pinker socks. For those who are unfamiliar, Wes Craven’s Shocker is as follows:
After being captured for a series of gruesome murders, Horace Pinker (Mitch Pileggi), a television repairman, faces execution by the electric chair — but a deal with the devil allows him to come back as electricity. Once he changes into his new form, Pinker goes after the detective that brought him down, Lt. Don Parker (Michael Murphy), as well as Parker’s adopted son, Jonathan (Peter Berg). However, Jonathan’s mysterious connection to Pinker through dreams might help track the killer’s moves.
In honor Joe Bob Briggs‘s triumphant return to “The Last Drive-In”, Fright-Rags has made the official Season 2 artwork available on T-shirts and hoodies. “The Last Drive-In” and MonsterVision hats will soon be restocked as well.
Halloween, Shocker, and Joe Bob Briggs apparel are available now at Fright-Rags.com.
