THIS IS THE END follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

The film stars James Franco (The Vault, The Disaster Artist), Jonah Hill (“Maniac”, 21 Jump Street), Seth Rogen (Long Shot, Superbad), Jay Baruchel (How To Train Your Dragon franchise, Random Acts of Violence), Danny McBride (Arizona, Alien: Covenant), and Craig Robinson (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, Pineapple Express). The film centers on fictionalized versions of its cast in the wake of a global biblical apocalypse.

The film was written, directed and co-produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (“Preacher”, The Interview) in their directorial debuts. It is a feature-length film adaptation of the short film Jay and Seth versus the Apocalypse, which was also written by Rogen and Goldberg, with the short’s director Jason Stone (At First Light, The Calling) serving as an executive producer.
