Shout! Studios has revealed the official trailer for the upcoming sci-fi thriller, PROXIMITY, which you can check out in the player below.

Isaac, a young scientist working for NASA, deals with the difficulties of everyday life when he unexpectedly receives a mysterious signal from space through one of the satellites at work. When he sets out to investigate the crash site, his entire world turns upside down – he is abducted by extraterrestrials. He finds his camera next to him and realizes he captured the whole thing on tape. The only problem now is when he tries to tell the people closest to him, they don’t believe him…

The film stars Ryan Masson (“Good Girls”, “Feral”), Highdee Kuan (“You“, “This Is Us”), Shaw Jones (Blue, “Prodigal Son”), Christian Prentice (Made in Cleveland, Pretty Boy), and Don Scribner (The Guide, Appleton).

An enthralling sci-fi thriller, PROXIMITY is an engaging exploration of the unknown, and the debut feature film from filmmaker and award-winning VFX artist Eric Demeusy.

Eric Demeusy is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles with a background in animation and visual effects. He is well known for creating the Emmy-winning title sequence for Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things”. He cut his teeth working for creative studios like Prologue, Imaginary Forces, Elastic and A52 where he worked on the Emmy-winning title sequence for HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, Disney’s Tron Legacy and Guillermo del Toro’s monster epic Pacific Rim. His short film Star Wars: The New Republic Anthology was featured on the front page of Yahoo and Entertainment Weekly. PROXIMITY marks his feature directorial debut.

PROXIMITY will be available on VOD on May 15, 2020.
