After losing her waitressing job, Katie Franklin (Camila Mendes) takes a job as a caretaker to a wealthy elderly man in his sprawling, empty Chicago estate. The two grow close, but when he unexpectedly passes away and names Katie as his sole heir, she and her husband Adam (Jessie T. Usher) are pulled into a complex web of lies, deception, and murder. If she’s going to survive, Katie will have to question everyone’s motives — even the people she loves.

The film stars Camila Mendes (“Riverdale”, Coyote Lake), Jessie T. Usher (“The Boys”, Independence Day: Resurgence), Jamie Chung (“Once Upon A Time”, “The Gifted”), Cam Gigandet (Twilight, Priest) with Sasha Alexander (“Rizzoli & Isles”, “NCIS”) and Elliott Gould (The Long Goodbye, Ocean’s Eleven).

The film is directed by Michael M. Scott (Hitched For The Holidays, Call Me Mrs. Miracle) and written by David Golden (The Autumn Waltz, Kiss At Pine Lake). It is produced by Stephanie Slack (Abduction of Jocelyn Shaker, The Assistant) and Margret H. Huddleston (Most Likely To Die, The Rachels). It is executive produced by Scott and Harvey Kahn (We Don’t Live Here Anymore, The Gourmet Detective).

    1. Hi Maria,

As Netflix sent us the information just a couple hours ago with DANGEROUS LIES as the title, I would say that DANGEROUS LIES is the title that they are using for right now.

    2. Hi Maria,

I reached out to Netflix and did get confirmation that Windfall was the previous title. The permanent title is DANGEROUS LIES.
