THE PERISHED, which comes out tomorrow, April 7th in North America through The Horror Collective, is available to pre-order through iTunes. The link to pre-order is HERE. The Horror Collective, in anticipation of the release of the second feature film from writer/director Paddy Murphy (The Three Don’ts), has also released three new clips below for your viewing pleasure.

THE PERISHED tells the story of a young Irish woman named Sarah Dekker (award-winning actress, Courtney McKeon) who finds herself dealing with an unwanted pregnancy, her subsequent abortion, and the consequences of a judgemental society.

Mayhem and Everly director Joe Lynch hails the film, saying, “It’s like if Ken Loach remade Don’t Look Now.” Meanwhile, “I got Hellraiser vibes,” said Entertainment Focus, “and it sent shivers down my spine.”

THE PERISHED stars Courtney McKeon (The Three Don’ts) in the lead role of Sarah Dekker, with Paul Fitzgerald (Killinaskully) acting alongside her as her best friend, Davet Lynch. The film features Stephen Tubridy (Illusion’s of the Mind, The Three Don’ts) as the supernatural entity known as Kilin. Fiach Kunz (Black 47, “Game of Thrones”, Blue Dawn) co-stars as Sarah’s boyfriend Shane Daly. His sister, Rebecca, is played by veteran Irish stage actress Lisa Tyrrell (Extremities).

Conor Lambert (Intermission, Love & Friendship) and Noelle Clarke (Christmas at Draculas) feature as Sarah’s parents, Richard and Elaine Dekker, with emerging talent Oisin Robbins supporting as Rebecca’s boyfriend, Nigel Kiely. Tim Hourigan and Brian O’ Regan also feature in the film.

The sound mix and design was handled by Italy based Massimiliano Borghesi, who did sound for the smash success, Book of Monsters, which was released last year by DREAD. Weird Cylinder Studios, run by talented musician Evan Murphy composed the music for the film while Aoife Meade wrote and performed the film’s theme, “The Good Book”.

The Horror Collective is a destination for independent horror filmmakers to connect their diverse and terrifying genre films to fans.
