From executive producer Matt Reeves and based on the acclaimed art of Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag, TALES FROM THE LOOP explores the town and people who live above “The Loop,” a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe – making things possible that were previously relegated only to science fiction. In this fantastical mysterious town, poignant human tales are told that bare universal emotional experiences, while drawing on the intrigue of genre storytelling.
The series stars Rebecca Hall (Vicky Cristina Barcelona, The Night House), Paul Schneider (“Parks and Recreation”, “Channel Zero”), Daniel Zolghadri (Eighth Grade, Fahrenheit 451), Duncan Joiner (Waco, The Disappointments Room), and Jonathan Pryce (The Two Popes, “Game of Thrones”).
TALES FROM THE LOOP is from Fox21 Television Studios and Amazon Studios, in association with 6th & Idaho and Indio Studio.
The series was created by Nathaniel Halpern (“Legion”, The Killing), who wrote all eight episodes, and also serves as executive producer alongside Mark Romanek (Never Let Me Go, One Hour Photo), Matt Reeves (The Batman, Let Me In), Adam Kassan (Black Mass, “The Passage”), Rafi Crohn (Button Man: The Killing Game, Surveillance), Mattias Montero (The Hypnotist, Sanctuary), Samantha Taylor Pickett (Anywhere With You, Miami Vice), and Adam Berg (Freelancers, Studio C).
