Cleopatra Entertainment has acquired all North American rights to SKIN WALKER, a psychological horror film from Luxembourg/Belgium.
Directed by Christian Neuman, making his feature film debut, SKIN WALKER mixes gothic images, supernatural terror and psychological drama into a tribute to the great European horror movies of the 1970s. Udo Kier (Andy Warhol’s Dracula), Jefferson Hall (Halloween, Game of Thrones, Vikings) and Amber Anderson (In Darkness) star. The film debuted previously at the 41st Cairo International Film Festival and at the 10th Luxefilmfest Luxembourg International Film Festival, and was honored at the IMAGO International Federation of Cinematographers Award for Best Young Emerging Cinematographer (Amandine Klee).
The rights deal was brokered by Cleopatra Founder and CEO Brian Perera, Tim Yasui VP/GM of Cleopatra Entertainment, and by Ida Martins from the Media Luna New Films Sales Agency on behalf of the filmmakers.
SKIN WALKER will see a limited theatrical release in select U.S. Theaters late this Summer, followed by a VOD and Home Entertainment DVD release just in time for the Fall season.
