Ghostbusters icons Slimer and Stay Puft have received the mini mask treatment, along with both masked and unmasked versions of Sam from Trick ‘r Treat. Stay tuned for more mini masks in the future, including Halloween III, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the “Universal Monster”s.
Trick ‘r Treat follows a series of interwoven stories that demonstrate that some traditions are best not forgotten as the residents (Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker) of a small town face real ghosts and goblins on Halloween. Tales of terror reveal the consequences of extinguishing a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight and a grumpy hermit’s encounter with a sinister trick-or-treater.
Ghostbusters follows a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) who, after losing their cushy positions at a university in New York City, decide to become “ghostbusters” to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.
Fright-Rags breaks new ground with its Tremors collection. Celebrate the 1990 cult classic’s 30th anniversary with four T-shirts showcasing the subterranean Graboids.
Tremors follows repairmen Val McKee (Kevin Bacon) and Earl Bassett (Fred Ward) who are tired of their dull lives in the small desert town of Perfection, Nev. But just as the two try to skip town, they happen upon a series of mysterious deaths and a concerned seismologist (Finn Carter) studying unnatural readings below the ground. With the help of an eccentric couple (Reba McEntire, Michael Gross), the group fights for survival against giant, worm-like monsters hungry for human flesh.
Dust off your VCR for Fright-Rags’ Slashback Video: The Beginning tee. It features Marc Schoenbach’s official artwork for the pop-up horror VHS store exhibition, which is now open at The Mystic Museum in Burbank, CA.
Mini masks and new apparel are on sale now at Fright-Rags.com, alongside recent restocks from Fangoria, The Fly, The Amityville Horror, Mars Attacks, The Crow, and more.
