In Blumhouse’s new spin on FANTASY ISLAND, the enigmatic Mr. Roarke makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.
The film stars Michael Peña (Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Ant-Man and The Wasp), Maggie Q (Priest, “Designated Survivor”), Lucy Hale (Truth or Dare, “Pretty Little Liars”), Austin Stowell (Bridge of Spies, Whiplash), Portia Doubleday (“Mr. Robot”, Carrie), Jimmy O. Yang (“Silicon Valley”, Life of the Party), Parisa Fitz-Henley (“The Sinner”, My Spy), Ryan Hansen (“2 Broke Girls”, “Veronica Mars”), and Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, “The Walking Dead”).
Directed by Jeff Wadlow (Cry_Wolf, Kick-Ass 2), FANTASY ISLAND is written by Wadlow, Chris Roach (Truth or Dare, Non-Stop), and Jillian Jacobs (Truth or Dare) and is produced by Jason Blum (Get Out, Halloween) and Marc Toberoff (Piranha 3D, I Spy). It is executive produced by Wadlow, Couper Samuelson (Happy Death Day, The First Purge), and Jeanette Volturno (The Boy Next Door, The Purge: Anarchy). The film is based on the television series created by Gene Levitt.
FANTASY ISLAND will unleash itself on February 14, 2020, making it the perfect film for couples to venture off to see on Valentine’s Day.
