Consequence of Sound has announced the addition of hit podcast THE HORROR VIRGIN to the Consequence Podcast Network. With new episodes dropping every Monday, horror fans Jenn and Mikey will take Horror Virgin Todd through the encyclopedia of horror one movie at a time. They’ll discuss classics as well as fan favorites, with the occasional new release thrown in for good measure. Mikey will make inappropriate jokes, Jenn will gush over Stephen King and Todd will scream at every jump scare. Every. Single. One. Prepare yourself for spoilers, tangents, and lots of irreverent fun.

“As musicians ourselves, we’ve been fans of Consequence of Sound and Consequence Podcast Network for years,” shares host Jenn. “I’m so excited to join the team and geek out about horror with a brand new audience!”

Since its launch on June 9th, 2018, there have been 81 episodes of THE HORROR VIRGIN, with over 150K unique downloads last year alone. Recent episodes have featured films for horror buffs and newbies alike including Krampus, Friday the 13th, The Shining, Halloween 2, Insidious, An American Werewolf in London, Paranormal Activity and more.

Founded in April 2018, the Consequence Podcast Network shifts the publication’s 13-year-old brand into the podcast arena with a series of exciting shows that reflect, evolve, and expand Consequence of Sound’s original content in new and refreshing ways.

“Horror is in our blood at Consequence of Sound, and we’re always looking for more and more people to get scared with – especially behind the mic,” shares Consequence of Sound’s Editor-in-Chief Michael Roffman on the new addition to the podcast network. “I’ve been a big fan of what Todd, Jenn, and Mickey have been doing with THE HORROR VIRGIN. Jenn, in particular, has been a recurring guest on many of our programs, so it’s great to finally have them part of our not-so-Mutant family. Boo!
