20th Century Fox has released the first official trailer and poster for their upcoming epic adventure-comedy FREE GUY, which received its global debut at Brazil CCXP19. Make sure you check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

In FREE GUY, a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late.

The film stars Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool franchise, 6 Underground), Jodie Comer (“Killing Eve”, “The White Princess”), Joe Keery (“Stranger Things”, Molly’s Game), Lil Rel Howery (Good Boys, Get Out), Utkarsh Ambudkar (Mulan, Brittany Runs a Marathon) and Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit, Thor: Ragnarok).

FREE GUY is directed by Shawn Levy (“Stranger Things”, Real Steel) from a story by Matt Lieberman (The Addams Family, The Christmas Chronicles) and a screenplay by Lieberman and Zak Penn (Ready Player One, The Avengers). The film is produced by Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, Greg Berlanti (“Supergirl”, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”), Sarah Schechter (“The Flash”, “Black Lightning”) and Adam Kolbrenner (Deadfall, Prisoners) with Mary McLaglen (Practical Magic, Two Weeks Notice), Josh McLaglen (Date Night, Dark Phoenix), George Dewey, Dan Levine (Kodachrome, Arrival) and Michael Riley McGrath (Red State, Pan) serving as executive producers.

The film will hit theaters nationwide on July 3, 2020.
