Netflix has released the first official trailer and poster for their upcoming action film, 6 UNDERGROUND. Make sure you check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
What’s the best part of being dead?
It isn’t escaping your boss, your ex, or even erasing your criminal record.
The best part about being dead…is the freedom.
The freedom to fight the injustice and evil that lurk in our world without anyone or anything to slow you down or tell you “no.”
6 UNDERGROUND introduces a new kind of action hero. Six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do, have been chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future. The team is brought together by an enigmatic leader (Ryan Reynolds), whose sole mission in life is to ensure that, while he and his fellow operatives will never be remembered, their actions damn sure will.
The cast of the film consists of Ryan Reynolds (Pokemon Detective Pikachu, Deadpool), Mélanie Laurent (Tomorrow, Enemy), Corey Hawkins (Kong: Skull Island, “24: Legacy”), Adria Arjona (“Emerald City”, “Good Omens“), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (Widows, Perfect Strangers), Ben Hardy (Mary Shelley, Bohemian Rhapsody), Lior Raz (Mary Magdalene, Operation Finale), Payman Maadi (Camp X-Ray, Last Knights), and Dave Franco (Nerve, Now You See Me 2).
The film is directed by Michael Bay (Bumblebee, Pearl Harbor) and is written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (Deadpool franchise, Zombieland franchise). The film is produced by Ian Bryce, p.g.a., Michael Bay, p.g.a., David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger. It is co-produced by Jonathan Hook and Michael Kase and executive produced by Matthew Cohan.
6 UNDERGROUND will be available for streaming on Netflix on December 13, 2019.
